PNW Spine & Joint Physicians is a physician-owned specialty practice focused on spine, joint, and musculoskeletal injuries. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who values high-quality patient care, physician collaboration, and work-life balance. This is an outpatient-only position with no hospital responsibilities, no call, no weekends, and an average patient schedule of approximately 12 patients per day. We offer flexibility for providers seeking either a full-time schedule or a reduced schedule of 30-40 hours per week. About Our Practice PNW Spine & Joint Physicians is an independent specialty practice serving patients throughout the Portland metropolitan area. We focus on the evaluation and treatment of spine, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions, with particular expertise in personal injury and motor vehicle collision-related injuries. Our providers work in a collaborative, physician-led environment where clinical decision-making is valued and patient care comes first. The position offers a balance of independence and collaboration. Providers manage their own panel of appropriate patients while also playing a key role in the follow-up care of established physician patients. Physicians remain readily available for consultation and continue to lead specialty evaluations, procedural planning, and overall treatment strategy. What You'll Do Evaluate new and established patients with spine, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions Manage patients recovering from personal injury and motor vehicle collision-related injuries Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and other specialists Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CT, and X-ray studies Prescribe medications as appropriate (no chronic opioid management) Collaborate closely with physicians regarding treatment planning and procedural recommendations Maintain timely, accurate, and defensible medical documentation Trigger point and joint injections (not required, but available for interested applicants) Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Active Oregon license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) DEA license (or ability to obtain) Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience required Experience in musculoskeletal medicine, orthopedics, PM&R, sports medicine, pain management, occupational medicine, neurology, rheumatology, urgent care, or a related field (preferred).
