Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluate patient needs through detailed intake interviews and ongoing monitoring. Administer medications accurately, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate patients about their treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that address behavioral health needs. Document patient progress, vital signs, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies. Assist with discharge planning by coordinating follow-up care, case management, and community resources. Experience Proven experience in psychiatric nursing within inpatient or outpatient settings. Strong background in behavioral health, emergency room experience, or medical-surgical nursing with a focus on mental health. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and utilization management to support complex patient assessments. Prior involvement in discharge planning, case management, or outpatient clinic operations is highly desirable. $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
