We currently manage over 200 encounters a day & are rapidly growing. We Contracted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-quality psychiatric care to diverse patient populations through telehealth services, ensuring accessible and compassionate mental health support across the country. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, medication management, and patient education, all while maintaining adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Collaborative agreements and 24/7 supervisory services provided. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms, utilizing your expertise in behavioral health and clinical evaluation techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology, therapy referrals, and lifestyle modifications tailored to each patient's needs. Manage medication regimens with precision, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide ongoing patient follow-up care, adjusting treatment strategies based on clinical progress and patient feedback. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth, ensuring HIPAA compliance and detailed medical records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex mental health conditions or comorbidities like substance use or chronic illnesses. Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with advancements in telehealth practices, psychopharmacology, and behavioral health treatments. Experience Valid state licensure as a PMHNP or NP with prescriptive authority for psychiatric medications. Proven experience in behavioral health settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, or telehealth platforms. Familiarity with EHR Charm Health Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles, medication management protocols, and mental health assessment tools. Experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized care such as dementia or memory care. Prior exposure to telehealth technology platforms and virtual patient engagement strategies. Additional skills in managing acute pain, crisis triage, case management, and familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10) are highly desirable.
