About Common Thread Counseling Common Thread Counseling (CTC) is a dynamic group practice in Anchorage dedicated to transformative trauma care. We specialize in deep, neuro-experiential approaches—including Brainspotting, EMDR, and Sensorimotor therapy —to help Alaskans achieve sustainable healing. Top-Tier Compensation:
$110.00 per billable client hour.

Full Administrative Support:
We handle the business side—website, EHR (SimplePractice), scheduling, billing, and social media/mail marketing to our established referral network.
Flexibility:
A modern setting that includes flexible working hours and opportunities for work-from-home days. Major Responsibilities Provide high-quality, ethical, and culturally competent outpatient therapy to individuals and families. Maintain clinical documentation within the EHR (recommended daily, required within 72 hours). Actively participate as a positive member of the clinical team and engage in case consultation. Stay current with trauma research, best practices, and community referral sources. Maintain good standing with licensing boards and insurance entities.
Qualifications Education:
Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field.
Licensure:
Must be fully licensed in the State of Alaska (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
Clinical Focus:
A strong interest in psychological trauma and proficiency in (or a desire to master) "bottom-up" modalities like Brainspotting or EMDR .
Skills:
Ability to work independently, implement effective time management, and practice consistent self-care.
