Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including children and seniors, and requires proficiency in multiple areas of healthcare practice. We also offer MAT and Weight loss, so we would prefer the NP to have experience in that or be open to learning. We are a very small licensed behavioral health center and primary care office that needs to find a NP who is willing to grow this program with us. While it will start as 1-2 days per week, it could develop into full-time hours if desired, as the client base is built up. MUST be willing to see clients for MAT, Weight loss, basic mental health needs and primary care. This is a clinic-based and not a remote job. Pay is set at $45 per hour but could increase after the program is profitable. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.. Provide acute care management for patients with complex health issues. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed. Provide telehealth services to enhance patient access to care. Qualifications Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with an active state license. Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Strong clinical skills in areas such as triage, suturing, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and diagnostic imaging. Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding and CPT coding for accurate medical documentation. Experience working in various healthcare settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, pain management, and hospice & palliative medicine is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong communication skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to NCQA standards. We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about patient care to apply for this rewarding opportunity. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients!Job Type:
