Job Description
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed to assist with established PM&R practice based out of various skilled nursing facilities. Current need is for part-time candidates. The role requires rotational travel to facilities in Santa Clarita with flexibility for some remote work at home. Set your own work schedule and hours. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Certified, you will be responsible for conducting physical examinations focusing on pain/rehabilitative management, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, and developing and implementing treatment plans. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care. We additionally offer a dedicated back-office staff to support your role. Qualifications Valid and active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Certified license Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Active DEA license Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills Ability to work efficiently in a tech-based environment (i.e. documentation, electronic office communications) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based and remote healthcare environment Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Experience in skilled nursing/geriatric care is preferred Willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites is a requirement
