St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center - Massena Wellness Center is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner Psychiatry to provide patient-centered and recovery-oriented behavioral health services to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As Nurse Practitioner Psychiatry, you will utilize a range of psychosocial interventions and therapy methods including:
- Providing psychiatric assessments, crisis intervention, treatments, and medication management.
- Establishing individual goals and treatment objectives.
- Prescribing medications and treatments, monitoring impact, and modifying as needed.
- Maintaining medical records and documentation.
- NYS medical, dental, and vision insurance

- Paid time off - 13 paid vacation days in the first year, 5 paid personal days, 13 paid holidays, & paid sick leave
- NYS Retirement programs A background check will be required.
