PA/NP Opportunity at Westchester Neurology Clinic! Bon Secours Neurology Clinic, Westchester is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of Neurology experience, to support our growing inpatient consult service and ambulatory follow-up clinic. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working collaboratively with a team of neurologists and advanced practice clinicians.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Call:

Not required

Daily Volume:

8-10 patients per day

Patient Population:

Adults (18+)

Split:

Half-day inpatient consult service; half-day ambulatory clinic (with potential for remote/MyChart follow-ups)

Telemedicine:

Some clinic time allocated to virtual visits Responsibilities Support inpatient neurology consult service (approximately half-day daily) Conduct hospital follow-up and routine outpatient neurology visits Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and physical exams Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising neurologists Order medications and treatments in accordance with Virginia prescriptive authority Respond to patient calls and MyChart messages Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives Exercise independent clinical judgment consistent with training and scope of practice Qualifications Licensed NP (Family NP or Adult Geriatric Acute Care NP) or Physician Assistant Minimum 2 years of neurology experience required BLS and ACLS certification required Eligible for Virginia licensure Strong clinical judgment and ability to adhere to established treatment plans while demonstrating critical thinking If you are an experienced Neurology NP or PA seeking a dynamic hybrid role with strong team support and clinical variety, this could be a great role for you!
