REQUIREMENTS
Must be a licensed and board certified PA or FNP in the State of California in good standing with a DEA license. At least 1 year of urgent care and/or occupational medicine experience preferred.
POSITION
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This is an On-Call position.
THE DETAILS
This is a 24 hour Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine clinic located in Hawthorne, CA (Near LAX). We see common urgent care complaints as well as industrial injuries. You can expect to become adept in: laceration repair, x-ray interpretation, wound care, nail removal, slit-lamp examination, foreign body removal and more. Low volume after hours is great for new grads to practice and learn Telemedicine option Flexible schedule Minimum of 6 shifts per month Sleep over call room available if you live more than 30 minutes away Malpractice with tail-end coverage covered Thorough training during 3 month probationary period Great opportunity to gain procedural skills Work with knowledgeable colleagues and supportive staff Supervising physician and lead PA always available for questions
