Job Description

Psychiatric APRN (Independent Contractor) - Pediatrics/Adolescents Preferred but works with any age urged to apply. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric APRN to join our practice as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable working autonomously while still valuing collaboration and peer support when needed. Position Overview The Psychiatric APRN will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning for patients. Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations is strongly preferred, though providers comfortable treating ages 18+ are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat mental health conditions Provide medication management and follow-up care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other providers as appropriate Practice independently while utilizing consultation support when needed Qualifications Active APRN license in good standing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification required Ability to practice independently Experience with pediatric and/or adolescent mental health preferred Comfortable treating patients ages 10+ or 18+ Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Position Details Independent contractor (1099) position Flexible scheduling Fully independent role Access to guidance and collaboration from other contracted APRNs when needed Competitive compensation based on experience and caseload We are looking for a provider who is patient-centered, collaborative, and confident in independent practice while appreciating a supportive professional network.
