Position Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and motivated PMHNP Residents to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for new or recent PMHNP graduates who are looking to build a strong clinical foundation in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. As a PMHNP Resident at LTAW, you will work under the supervision and guidance of experienced psychiatric providers, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse patient population and a wide range of psychiatric conditions and treatment modalities. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews under supervision Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with attending provider oversight Provide telehealth and in-person care across assigned LTAW locations Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and facility staff in SNF, ALF, and hospital settings Support referrals and coordination for TMS therapy and Spravato treatments Maintain accurate, timely documentation in AdvancedMD (EMR) Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing clinical education Requirements & Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a PMHNP specialization Current or pending PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP) Active Florida APRN license (or eligibility to obtain) DEA registration (or ability to obtain) Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment Experienced PMHNP's strongly encouraged to apply New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for resident program Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
