We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. New grads are encouraged to apply. We provide client-centered mental health care in a supportive, collaborative environment that values flexibility, clinical autonomy, and meaningful therapeutic relationships. This is a 1099 contract position with competitive compensation and flexible scheduling. Responsibilities:
A minimum of 16 clinical hours per week is required. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and client goals Provide ongoing medication management and monitor therapeutic outcomes Apply psychotherapy and therapeutic techniques as appropriate Collaborate with other clinicians and support staff to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems Provide psychoeducation to clients and families as needed Participate in case discussions and clinical supervision as needed Other related duties
Qualifications:
New Grad Friendly! Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Connecticut. Active DEA and CDS licenses Must carry malpractice liability insurance Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Proficiency in psychopharmacology and medication management Comfort with psychotherapy and therapeutic techniques At least 3 years of prior professional experience as a psychiatric nurse is required. Professional or clinical student experience working in outpatient psychiatry is a plus. Professional or clinical student experience working with children and adolescents is preferred. Excellent communication and documentation skills Comfort with EHR systems and telehealth platforms

Compensation:
