This position involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care. The APP will utilize their advanced clinical skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive care, focusing on various autoimmune / rheumatologic disorders. We are a small mom-and-pop rheumatology practice and have seen steady growth over the past 4 years. We pride in having incredible relationships with patient and the office staff functions as a family unit. In addition to base compensation, we will allow you to retain your profits. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using
EMR / ECLINICALWORKS.
Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility. Skills Strong knowledge of emergency medicine principles and practices. Proficient in infection control measures to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Previous experience with working in various healthcare settings - rheumatology, oncology or GI experience preferred Familiarity with urgent care environments and the ability to manage acute conditions effectively. Solid understanding of physiology to inform clinical decision-making. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care while utilizing their advanced practice skills in a dynamic healthcare setting.
