Job Description

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Pulmonology (Critical Care) - Seeking a Pulmonary-Critical Care specialist to join an established Pulmonary Division in Massachusetts South of Boston and not far from Providence, Rhode Island. This position is to join a 150-provider multispecialty group. In addition to 45 Primary Care physicians, we represent various medical specialties and services, including a Sleep Lab, Radiology Division, Laboratory, outpatient Endovascular Suite, and Urgent Care Centers. Our Pulmonary|Critical Care Division currently consists of 6 physicians and a Nurse Practitioner seeing inpatients at 2 hospitals and covering a thriving outpatient practice. We are the Intensivists at one of the local hospitals. Our pulmonologists perform PFT's, bronchoscopy and biopsy and are trained in EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy. Current specialized projects include a COPD Clinic, a Dyspnea Clinic, specialized care in local skilled nursing facilities, a low-dose chest CT screening program, and a Lung Nodule Program. This is an excellent medical community and our significant Primary Care base provides an excellent source of specialty referrals. The salary is highly competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses after 1 year and eligible for partnership after 2-3 years with minimal buy-in. Of course, moving expenses, health insurance, vacation, CME expenses, and a 401K are included. Prima CARE is a solid influence in this medical community.
