Job Description

•Healthcare benefits begin on date of hire, MiraSol Health covers medical premiums. MiraSol Health offers a 5% retirement matching program. •This position is Friday - Monday 7:00am 7:00pm. About us MiraSol Health is an independent, community-based healthcare non-profit organization, serving the Lowcountry for more than 43 years. We help our valued patients, and their families experience the fullness and dignity they deserve, even as they face the anxieties associated with serious illness. As a Nurse Practitioner, your primary role is to provide compassionate and quality care to patients with serious illnesses in the hospital setting. Consulting physician teams to assist with the palliation of serious illnesses. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address patients' and their families' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Nurse Practitioner will care for seriously ill patients to help alleviate symptoms and align medical treatments with patients' goals and values.
Qualifications:
a. Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing b. Valid nurse practitioner license/Board Certification c. Practicing NP/APRN currently licensed under the provisions of the SC Board of Medicine. d. Active NPI number. e. Possess an understanding of principles of hospice care, pain control and symptom management, palliative medicine, pharmacology, and disease processes. f. Must be innovative, communicate effectively, and demonstrate commitment to hospice philosophy and interdisciplinary teamwork. g. Possess a valid driver's license.
