Job Description

Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (8 Hours/Week) - Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Facility[Trinity Behavioral Care]

Schedule:
Approximately 8 hours per week on
Wednesdays Salary Range:
$52.88 per hour The qualified candidate must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of South Carolina, along with current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice, Adult Health, Psychiatric Mental Health, or a related specialty. The candidate must also maintain an active DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances. Experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders, behavioral health conditions, or addiction treatment is preferred, as well as knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, including buprenorphine and Suboxone . The Nurse Practitioner should demonstrate strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills and have the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with opioid dependence and co-occurring conditions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with counselors, medical providers, and treatment team members while maintaining a compassionate, professional, and recovery-oriented approach to patient care. Current CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA compliance and applicable state and federal regulations are preferred.
