  • Full-Time Advanced Practice Clinician (FNP/PA), AFC Easley Urgent Care Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our AFC Urgent Care Clinic in Easley, SC.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced urgent care environment while enjoying predictable scheduling and strong organizational support. As a member of our urgent care team, you will evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of non-emergent illnesses and injuries, supported by experienced medical assistants and front-office staff. Our clinics operate seven days per week, offering consistency, work-life balance, and meaningful connections with patients and colleagues. Urgent Care Scope of Services Walk-in access to high-quality, non-emergency care Occupational medicine services, including workers' compensation, return-to-work evaluations, and pre-employment physicals On-site diagnostics, including laboratory testing, X-rays, and EKGs Seamless coordination with primary care and specialty providers What We Offer Competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits Health, dental, vision, and malpractice insurance (including tail coverage) Generous paid time off and CME allowance Retirement plans with employer matching Critical Staffing Stipend per 12-hour shift Potential for overtime at a premium rate Optional 1 administrative hour per week dedicated to charting No on-call responsibilities Experity EMR used across the ministry Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for walk-in urgent care patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care. Collaborate closely with medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Educate patients and clearly communicate care plans and follow-up instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Demonstrate a commitment to quality, patient satisfaction, and continuous professional growth.
Travel Requirements:
(required) Up to 20% floating to other clinics as needed (mileage reimbursed over 30 miles)
Qualifications Preferred:
Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience
Required:
Minimum of 2 years of active experience as a PA or FNP Current, unrestricted South Carolina PA or FNP license (active before starting) Active DEA and CDS licenses (active before starting) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment DOT certification within 60 days of hire Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, including infants and geriatrics

New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Work Hours Full-Time:
Week 1: Three 12-hour shifts Week 2: Two 12-hour shifts plus weekend 39 hours per week. 1optional administrative hour per week dedicated to charting 2-week schedule
