Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate interventions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and sonography. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in various settings such as home care, nursing homes, and teaching hospitals. Provide emergency medicine support as needed in critical situations. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner program. Current state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Experience in home care, senior care, hospital medicine, or critical care is preferred. Knowledge of workers' compensation law is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
