Exciting opportunity to join our clinical team as a full-time professional Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). To be a successful Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at ReGenesis Health Care you must be able to diagnose and treat acute behavioral problems in a wide variety of patients and work in a team with our nurses and physicians. Excellent salary up to $115,000 with excellent full-time benefits. Sign on bonus and quarterly incentive.

Duties and Responsibilities :

You will diagnose and treat acute behavioral problems, treat, and manage mild to severe mental health disorders. You will order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies. You will prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary for adult and pediatric patients. You will obtain medical histories and provide health maintenance including physical examinations. You will interpret and make appropriate decisions based on pertinent laboratory and clinical findings. You will promote positive behavioral health through education and counseling. You will complete timely documentation in the EMR for each patient encounter and review patient medical records for accuracy, and completeness as outlined in policy. You will prescribe treatment plans for management/care for patients and families according to protocols and refer appropriately.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited-Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program. Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Fellowship program. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina. Recognized as a Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina. Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Care facility preferred. Must maintain a current certification in Basic Life Support techniques.
