Full Job Description Job Title:
Family Nurse Practitioner (Integrative & Functional Medicine | Pediatrics & Adults)Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our integrative primary care team in a direct patient care model . This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about root-cause medicine, metabolic health, and providing longitudinal care across the lifespan. Our practice serves patients ages 1 and up, delivering comprehensive primary care within a functional and integrative medicine framework. The FNP will evaluate, diagnose, and manage both pediatric and adult patients, with a strong emphasis on prevention, lifestyle medicine, and individualized treatment planning. We are especially seeking someone who is comfortable caring for both children and adults and who has a genuine interest in pediatrics within a holistic, family-centered care environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care for pediatric (1+) and adult patients in a direct patient care model Perform thorough patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan Develop and implement individualized, root-cause-oriented treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory testing, including advanced and functional panels Prescribe medications, supplements, and therapeutic interventions as clinically appropriate Collaborate closely with physicians, health coaches, and clinical staff to coordinate care Educate patients and families on lifestyle interventions including nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress regulation Perform in-office procedures as appropriate (e.g., suturing, wound care, injections, Pap smears if applicable) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Requirements Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in South Carolina National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Minimum 1-3+ years clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or outpatient medicine preferred Comfortable managing both pediatric and adult patient populations Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in an independent and collaborative team-based environment Interest in functional and integrative medicine strongly preferred Excellent communication skills and patient/family-centered approach to care Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in integrative or functional medicine Passion or prior experience in pediatrics and family-centered care Familiarity with hormone health, metabolic health, gut health, and autoimmune conditions Experience interpreting advanced laboratory testing Exposure to lifestyle medicine and behavior change support models Experience in concierge, direct primary care, or membership-based practices What We Offer Collaborative, supportive integrative medicine environment Direct patient care model with strong provider autonomy and meaningful continuity relationships Opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan (pediatrics through adults) Exposure to advanced functional and integrative treatment protocols Strong focus on clinical education, root-cause medicine, and outcomes-based care Competitive compensation based on experience About Our Practice We are a comprehensive integrative primary care clinic focused on delivering personalized, root-cause-driven medicine through a direct patient care model .
