Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Veteran Disability Exams Cookeville, TN Flexible Schedule A national healthcare organization supporting U.S. Veterans is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations in Cookeville . This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for physicians looking to supplement their income with low-stress, non-treatment evaluations . This role involves one-time medical disability exams for Veterans and does not include prescribing, treatment, or follow-up care . Schedule & Location PRN / Per Diem $600-750/full day Approximately 1.5 days per week needed Option to work day (4 hours) or full day (8 hours) Providers located within a 5-mile radius of Cookeville preferred No personal office required Position Overview Physicians will conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations and Separation Health Assessments for military Veterans. Exams are primarily interview-based with limited physical assessment and focus on documenting medical findings for disability claims. These evaluations help ensure Veterans receive the benefits and care they have earned through their service .
