Responsible for planning and directing the delivery of Urgent Care/Primary Care services and health education programs in a primary care clinic setting. Works under general established supervision using protocols as required. Models appropriate behavior to employees as exemplified In the Quality Plus manner, which reflects amitment to the Continuous Process Improvement Plan (CPI). Position reports to the Department Director. Flexible work hours five days a week, subject to non-traditional hours, in an exempt status.EDUCATION
BSN and Master's Degree with successfulpletion of a Nurse Practitioner Specialty or a Physician Assistant Program as approved by the state of Tennessee.LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION
RN License, APN Certification forFNP PA License:
NCCPA Certification for Physician Assistant BLS and ACLS required certification Current DEA license issued by the Drug Enforcement Agency Responsible for Continuing Education units annuallyEXPERIENCE
Prefer two years of experience in a clinical setting.KLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Kledge of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner principles and techniques. Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and productively in a team environment with a diverse set of employees, patients and families.
