The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care across various settings, including primary care, urgent care, and specialized medical fields. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, ensuring their health needs are met with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose and treat various health conditions. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform diagnostic evaluations, including laboratory tests and imaging studies. Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as hospitals, urgent care facilities, and nursing homes. Manage chronic conditions through ongoing monitoring and adjustment of treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Stay current with advancements in medical practices, technologies, and treatments. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with appropriate certifications. Experience in primary care or family medicine is preferred; additional experience in specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or emergency medicine is a plus. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for effective patient management. Knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding for accurate medical billing and documentation. Strong understanding of critical care principles; experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while exhibiting strong leadership qualities. Experience with telehealth services is beneficial. Candidates who possess additional skills such as botulinum toxin treatment, esthetic laser treatment, behavioral health expertise, or experience working with developmental disabilities will be highly regarded.
