Job Description

Overview InSight is seeking a highly motivated Adult Nurse Practitioner experienced in addiction treatment to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in an outpatient setting. This role emphasizes whole-person care, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and collaborative treatment planning within a mission-driven organization dedicated to restoring excellence in addiction medicine and mental health care. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, collaborative, flexible, and passionate about helping patients recover from addiction and improve their overall mental and physical health. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up evaluations Provide medication management for addiction and co-occurring health conditions Initiate and manage Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including monitoring treatment response and adherence Evaluate and manage common medical and/or psychiatric concerns related to addiction treatment (appropriate to licensure scope) Develop and maintain clear, evidence-based treatment plans Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, recovery expectations, and treatment goals Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant EMR documentation Collaborate effectively with therapists, case managers, nursing staff, and administrative team members Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing clinical development Qualifications Active Tennessee APN and RN licenses Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), or equivalent adult-focused nurse practitioner certification Experience treating patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred Some experience with inpatient or residential treatment preferred Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Short- and long-term disability coverage Compensation $115k-$130k base + performance bonus Transparent RVU/productivity model No cap on earnings Base salary commensurate with experience About InSight InSight exists to lead the revival of excellence in addiction medicine and mental health care.
