Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our established, inpatient Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Hospital. Our facility specializes in providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children and adolescents in a structured, therapeutic environment.
Position Overview:
The Family Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in supporting our patients' physical and mental health by completing admission history and physical assessments and responding to sick call needs throughout the inpatient units and the residential treatment center. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure that each patient's healthcare needs are met promptly and appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for new patient admissions. Provide timely evaluation and management of patients presenting with acute or ongoing medical concerns ("sick call"). Collaborate with psychiatric providers to ensure continuity of care. Document all encounters clearly and accurately in the medical record.
Qualifications:
Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Tennessee or eligible for licensure. Experience working with pediatrics and adolescent populations required. Prior experience in behavioral health or inpatient hospital settings is a plus. Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
