SCHEDULE
- Days and times as scheduled
- Weekend and night call coverage on a rotating schedule
OVERVIEW
The primary function of the NP is to see patients and complete all charting in a timely and efficient manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Represent the practice in a professional manner at all times
- Be aligned with the office's philosophy on vaccines, use of medications and the overall quality of care
- Follow standard operating procedures
- See patients in the office and complete all charting in an accurate, timely and efficient manner
- Cover any other provider's patients if they are sick or on vacation
- Cover weekend and night calls on a rotating schedule
- Make reports as required to the Medical Supervisor and Practice Manager on the status of the assigned functions
- Maintain HIPPA and OSHA compliance at all times
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the marketing and advertising efforts
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Tennessee RN license and an active Tennessee APN license
- National Nurse Practitioner certification
- Current DEA license
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters in nursing (MSN)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Spanish speaking
