Job Description

Job Description Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our orthopedic/trauma team at Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX. In this full-time role, you will play an integral part in delivering 24/7 orthopedic and trauma care in collaboration with a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgery team. Be part of a high-performance culture with ongoing education and support Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive orthopedic and trauma care in the ER, OR, and inpatient settings Perform orthopedic consults, assist in surgical cases, and manage post-operative care Participate in rounding, discharges, and care coordination with interdisciplinary teams Assist with splinting, casting, wound care, and procedural support Accurately document encounters and assist with coding and compliance standards Maintain timely communication with the attending physicians and nursing staff Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current NP or PA licensure in Texas (or eligibility to obtain) National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) At least 1-2 years of experience in orthopedics, trauma surgery, or acute care required Strong procedural skills and comfort working in high-acuity environments Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package with shift-based pay Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and CME allowance Malpractice coverage with tail insurance About
