PRN Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner Position Summary:
An Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, the Nurse Practitioner prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing staff working together. The Nurse Practitioner is able to provide direct and indirect care to patients. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide occupational medicine care to patients Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations Setting up and monitoring medical equipment Ordering and administrating Communicating test results to patients Recording patient medical history Operating and maintaining medical equipment Telehealth Calls
REQUIREMENTS
NP License in the state of
Texas Patient Care EMR System Charting Vital Sign Monitoring Suturing Injections Communication and Technology Line of Authority:
This position will report directly to Adam Jaynes, Director of Occupational Medicine of Your Medical Home.

$75.00 - $80.00 per hour
