We specialize in treating patients with addiction and co-occurring psychiatric conditions through in-network services. We currently operate in Texas, Florida, and Virginia , providing care across treatment facilities, hospitals, state-funded agencies, and outpatient settings. Services include psychiatric medication management, substance use treatment, ketamine therapy, and TMS . Why Join CARMAhealth Monday-Friday schedule (work-life balance) Growing multi-state organization with strong clinical support Team-based care model (providers, therapists, operations support) Opportunity to work in both psychiatry and addiction medicine Position Overview We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide in-person, onsite care focused on psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health and substance use disorders. This role includes medication management and withdrawal management (detox) in a structured clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and history & physical exams Diagnose and treat mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders Provide medication management and monitor patient outcomes Deliver withdrawal management (detox) services as needed Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations Participate in quality and compliance initiatives Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing (PMHNP preferred) Active and unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license DEA license required 2+ years of clinical experience preferred Experience in psychiatry, addiction medicine, or detox settings strongly preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment Skills & Competencies Strong psychiatric assessment and diagnostic skills Proficiency in medication management Knowledge of the disease model of addiction Excellent communication and documentation skills Understanding of compliance, safety, and confidentiality standards Compensation & Benefits (W2) Competitive salary: $120,000-$135,000 160 Hours PTO (4 weeks) Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with company participation CME allowance + CME time off
