In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive exams for patients involved in injuries from work and car accidents . Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and referrals for imaging or to a specialist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional services with compassion and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical practice, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a passion for advancing patient well-being through innovative care approaches. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient status using advanced physiology knowledge and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration and accessing referrals. Manage acute pain cases Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation, coding (ICD-10, CPT). Collaborate with specialists in orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain management to optimize comprehensive care delivery. Experience Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in various clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), or outpatient clinics. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable. Strong background in performing procedures including phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and trigger point or joint injections. Critical care experience from Level I or Level II trauma centers or similar high-acuity environments is preferred. Knowledge of CPT coding standards and workers' compensation law related to occupational health cases; familiarity with hospital protocols such as infection control and infection prevention strategies is essential. Additional qualifications include training in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), airway management skills, and proficiency with medical imaging or laboratory testing procedures.
