Job Description

Job Overview Locumly is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a specialized Occupational Medicine opportunity in the Gulf Coast Texas region. This role focuses on providing essential workplace health services, including injury management and physical examinations, within a professional clinic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a local clinician looking for a consistent schedule with the potential for an ongoing or permanent arrangement. Key Responsibilities Perform DOT physical examinations as the primary focus of clinical duties. Manage workers' compensation cases and work-related injury evaluations. Conduct substance abuse testing and respirator fit testing. Ensure OSHA compliance through various medical testing protocols. Maintain a steady clinical pace, seeing approximately 10-15 adult patients per day. Focus exclusively on occupational health; no urgent care or general sick visits required. Qualifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Active Texas state license. Current DOT Certification is required. Ability to commute locally within the region. Compliance with standard vaccination requirements.
Schedule & Setting Initial Coverage:
5-7 Shifts a month, ongoing
Shift Times:
Minimum of 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM daily, with the option to extend hours through 3:00 PM.
Potential:
