Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and bilingual Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Diagnose and treat mental health disorders. Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Conduct therapy sessions with patients. Document patient care in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Nursing. Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Experience in a clinical psychiatric setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Knowledge of current mental health laws and ethical standards. Experience with a diverse patient population. Leadership and management abilities. Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a focus on psychiatry. Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or another relevant certifying body. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting. Experience in telemedicine. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare technology. Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish. Confidentiality & Compliance Uphold HIPAA guidelines and protect patient confidentiality at all times. Report any concerns regarding safety, privacy, and workflows.
