$60.00 - $70.00 per hour Job description: Prime choice Urgent Care is currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for our on-site health center for a large, local employer in Frisco, TX. This health center has a proactive, educative approach where employees and their dependents are motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct exams and develop plans, within the scope of your professional license, to evaluate and treat injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic conditions. This includes coordinating and facilitating wellness activities, performing diagnostic tests and screenings, and prescribing medications and medical devices. You will spend your time educating members about preventative care and medical treatments and performing minor surgical interventions when needed. The Nurse Practitioner will also collaborate with the PCP around wellness outcomes for high risk members in order to create personal health plans and drive positive behavior changes. Also, should be comfortable doing Telemedicine encounters. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program or equivalent relevant work experience Licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of TX Current Basic Life Support Certification At least 2 years of work experience in a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care or Urgent Care health center setting

Preferred Qualifications:

DOT Certification Occupational Health work experience Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification Able to start IV lines Able to do procedures

Must live in or near the Frisco, TX area Additional Information Applicants for NP positing at Prime Choice Urgent Care must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
