Family Nurse Practitioner 21234 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, TX 77450 $82,643.13 - $99,527.22 a year - Part-time, Full-time $82,643.13 - $99,527.22 a year - Part-time, Full-time Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive primary care and specialized services to diverse patient populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise, foster meaningful patient relationships, and contribute to innovative health solutions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes. Your energetic approach and dedication will help empower patients on their journey toward wellness and resilience. Perform detailed physical examinations, vital signs assessment, and comprehensive patient evaluations across various age groups, including geriatrics, and adult populations. Manage acute and chronic conditions through evidence-based interventions, medication administration, and procedural skills such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and wound care. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, sonography, and basic medical imaging to support clinical decision-making. Provide health coaching, preventive care counseling, family planning guidance, and education on lifestyle modifications to improve long-term health outcomes. Collaborate with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, behavioral health, hospice & palliative medicine, and senior care to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans. Engage in telehealth consultations and triage services to extend accessible care while ensuring timely response to urgent patient needs. Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification to practice independently in the state of employment. Proven experience in primary care settings with proficiency in medical office procedures and EMR/EHR systems like Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks. Willing to train. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, dialysis patients, ICU or Level I trauma center experience preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (including
ICD-9/10
), CPT coding for procedures and billing practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse patient populations; experience working with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
