About the
Opportunity:
This PMHNP opportunity involves delivering high-quality, outpatient psychiatric services to underserved patients aged 5 to 99. Operating in a collaborative and integrated environment, you will utilize trauma-informed, patient-centered practices through a hybrid of in-person and telehealth consultations. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians focused on expanding mental healthcare access.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Diagnose using
DSM-5-TR
criteria
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and follow-up care
  • Deliver trauma-informed, integrated behavioral health services
  • Collaborate with medical providers and community partners
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (1-2 times per year)
  • Maintain timely and accurate EHR documentation
  • Provide telemedicine services as appropriate
Qualifications:
  • Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Current, unrestricted Texas license
  • Minimum 12 months of PMHNP experience
  • Experience working with underserved populations preferred
  • Comfortable treating patients ages 5 and up
  • Strong knowledge of
DSM-5-TR
  • Experience in integrated or collaborative care settings preferred
  • Proficient with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
Compensation & Schedule:
    Base Salary:
    $119,365 annually plus stipend based on years of experience
    • Eligible for external federal & state student loan repayment programs
    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00
    PM Tuesdays:
    10:00 AM - 7:00
