Acute Care Job Description:

VHS is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Acute Care to join our team for an urgent assignment. The provider will work in an inpatient setting, primarily focusing on ICU patient care, including admissions, discharges, code runs, and procedures such as intubation, central line placements, dialysis lines, and arterial lines. The shift times are from 6am to 6am or 6pm to 6am, with a guaranteed 12 hours per day. The assignment requires a provider with 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and an active license and DEA. Prior neuro or neurosurgery experience is a plus. The candidate must be BC or BE only, with current CV, active license, DEA, and certifications uploaded and current.

Shift Times:

6am-6am or 6pm-6am Guaranteed Hours per

Day:

12 Overtime hours apply after 12 hours per day

Credentials & Requirements:

Active License DEA required Board Certified (BC) or Eligible (BE) in Acute Care Nurse Practice BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with ICU procedures and neuro care a plus
