Job Description

About the Job WeCare tlc is a patient-centered healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate services to individuals and families for our client in Midland, TX. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for patients across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications. Provide patient education and supportive psychotherapy. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team members. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (Psychiatric/Mental Health specialization). Current, active Nurse Practitioner license in [State]. Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). DEA license (or ability to obtain). Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in outpatient or integrated care settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
