Part-time benefits available, including paid malpractice coverage, 401(k), and sick time Position Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in San Antonio, TX . This role is ideal for a clinician who values variety, autonomy, and meaningful patient care in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment. You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, clear practice guidelines, peer collaboration, and accessible medical leadership. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other procedures as applicable Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
NP:
ANCC or AANP certification; FNP required
PA:
