Experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

San Marcos Dermatology is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our esteemed dermatology team. As a Dermatology PA/NP, you will work closely with our board-certified dermatologists to provide comprehensive skin care services to our diverse patient population. Responsibilities include:

Diagnose and treat skin conditions, diseases and disorders. Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations. Provide patient education on skincare and disease prevention Perform skin biopsies and other minor dermatological procedures. Ensure high patient satisfaction through attentive education, follow-ups and post-treatment care. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge. Collaborate with our skincare professionals to deliver comprehensive skincare solutions. Uphold safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment for clients and staff. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that highlights dermatological services, and medical advancements.

Requirements:

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner with a current, unrestricted Texas license. Minimum 2 years of experience in dermatology specialty; proven experience in diagnosis and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus. ModMed's EMA is preferred.
