Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in San Marcos, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of patient needs and building long-term relationships within the community. Key Responsibilities Provide full-scope primary care including preventive services, acute care, and chronic disease management
Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care Qualifications Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Previous experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Outpatient only
