Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), where your expertise will directly impact patient care across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional health services. We are seeking energetic, motivated professionals eager to make a difference in patients' lives through compassionate, evidence-based practice. This paid position offers opportunities to work in outpatient clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and telehealth environments, utilizing advanced clinical skills and a broad scope of practice. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to establish accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, incorporating preventive care and health education. Manage acute and chronic illnesses by prescribing medications, performing procedures such as suturing and IV infusions, and monitoring patient progress. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans, referrals, and follow-up strategies. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like practice fusion. Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, sonography, and basic medical imaging interpretation. Engage in telehealth consultations to extend care access while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Demonstrated experience in primary care settings with proficiency in medical office procedures and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to family medicine. Experience with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, hospice & palliative medicine, and assisted living residents. Skills in performing clinical procedures such as suturing, Biopsy's and cryo Surgery. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or emergency medicine units while demonstrating excellent patient assessment skills.
