We are also involved in neurological research and offer advanced therapies through our state-of-the-art infusion suite. About the
Role:
We're seeking a Bilingual Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (English/Spanish) who is passionate about neurology and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. You'll work directly with our neurologist in an adult outpatient (ambulatory) clinic setting — no hospital services or on-call duties required. This position involves providing direct patient care, diagnosing and managing neurological conditions, and working collaboratively with our clinical team to deliver exceptional care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, collaborating, and making a real impact in patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain medical histories and perform physical and neurological assessments Diagnose, treat, and triage common neurological disorders Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory studies (EEG, EMG, MRI, etc.) Prescribe medications as appropriate under state guidelines Conduct clinic encounters independently and in coordination with the physician Manage patient communications via phone and email Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate closely with staff to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (U.S.) Licensed in the State of Texas Board Certified and/or Board Eligible Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong interest or prior experience in neurology preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
