About the
Role:
The PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients across multiple locations, including Pearland, Clear Lake, Lake Jackson, and Sugarland Lake Pointe. This position is designed for healthcare professionals who are flexible and can adapt to varying patient needs and schedules. The primary end result of this role is to ensure that patients receive timely and effective medical care, contributing to their overall health and well-being. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while also providing education and support to promote healthy lifestyles. Ultimately, this role is vital in enhancing patient satisfaction and improving health outcomes within the community.Minimum Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas. Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a primary care or urgent care setting. Advanced certifications in specialized areas of practice. Bilingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations. Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.Skills:
