Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner will: Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P-7A). Perform assessments, order/interprete diagnostics, and develop treatment plans. Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings. Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management. Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Document all care using Epic EMR . Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes. Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards. Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education. Not doing any locums or locum to perm UCHealth clears names system-wide. Visa sponsorship not available (No J-1 or H-1B visas accepted) Not accepting fresh graduates (must have two (2) years of trauma surgery experience or the completion of a surgical fellowship is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary ranges from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience Eligible to earn up to $10,000 annually through the Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) Relocation bonus up to $10,000 for eligible candidates Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage CME allowance of up to $3,500 per year plus 5 CME days 403(b) retirement plan with employer match and optional 457(b) plan for additional savings Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employer-paid short-term disability up to 66.67% of base pay and employer-provided long-term disability with buy-up options Additional voluntary benefits including
FSA, HSA
