Job Description

Bon Secours is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our high-performing Cardiovascular Surgery team, providing both inpatient and outpatient coverage across St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA, and Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA. This advanced practice role supports adult cardiac surgery patients throughout the entire continuum of care, from preoperative evaluation through postoperative recovery and follow-up.
Position Details Schedule:
4 days/week
Call:
1:6 Weekend rounding First call Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 7:00
AM Practice Setting:
Inpatient hospital coverage and outpatient clinic Split coverage between St. Mary's Hospital (Richmond) and Memorial Regional Medical Center (Mechanicsville)
Patient Volume:
5-10 patients per day (ages 21+)
Procedures:
Chest tube and pacing wire removal Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management
Professional Growth:
