Southwest Virginia Cardiology, an AlignedCardio partner, is seeking a dedicated provider to join our growing cardiovascular team in the beautiful Roanoke area. We are seeking a compassionate and clinically confident Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our General Cardiology team. This clinic-based role offers the chance to care for a diverse patient population with cardiovascular disease while working alongside an experienced cardiologist and fellow APP in a highly supportive environment. Whether you are an experienced cardiology APP or a strong clinician from emergency medicine, critical care, or internal medicine looking to transition into cardiology, we would love to speak with you. What You'll Do Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient clinic setting Develop individualized treatment plans including: Diagnostic testing and imaging Medical therapies Interventions and specialist referrals Patient education and preventative care Practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with the physician and APP colleague Build meaningful relationships with patients while delivering compassionate, high-quality care What We're Looking For Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia Current certification through ANCC or AANP Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Strong communication and patient care skills Commitment to maintaining all licensure and credentials in good standing Preferred Experience 2+ years of cardiology, emergency medicine, or critical care experience preferred Strong internal medicine experience will also be considered New graduates with significant emergency or critical care backgrounds are encouraged to apply Why Join Our Team?
