Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), formerly Tidewater Primary Care Physicians, P.C., was formed in 1992 with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, Virginia. Today, TPMG has expanded its practices to include over 220 primary care, specialty physicians, and advanced practice clinicians who provide care to patients throughout the Hampton Roads and southeastern Virginia. TPMG Lung and Sleep Williamsburg is seeking an Advanced Care Provider (ACP) to join their team. The practice is located in Williamsburg, VA and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. The team values collaboration, efficiency, and compassionate treatment in a supportive outpatient setting. They are seeking a motivated and experienced ACP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their team on a full-time basis. The ACP will work closely with the providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of pulmonary conditions—from asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease to sleep apnea and complex sleep disorders. The team emphasizes collaboration, and compassionate patient care. This role includes conducting evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests, managing ongoing treatment plans, and educating patients on chronic disease management and sleep health. Key Responsibilities:
Perform new patient and follow-up evaluations for pulmonary and sleep-related conditions Review and interpret diagnostic studies (PFTs, sleep studies, imaging, labs) Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Provide patient education on medications, lifestyle modifications, and disease processes Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and sleep technologists Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and care coordination Document patient encounters accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Current DEA license, national board certification and CPR certification
