Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 7:00 AM•3:30 PM (8-hour days, 5 shifts/week)
Orientation:
2 weeks in Racine, WI (travel expenses not covered) Job Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Wisconsin — required for submission CPR certification (must be in-person; online CPR not accepted) At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience preferred Ability to attend in-person orientation in Racine, WI Strong clinical communication, documentation, and professional references (minimum 2) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary and acute care to adult female residents within the correctional facility Perform physical assessments, make diagnoses, and manage acute and chronic conditions consistent with NP scope of practice Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered correctional healthcare Document patient encounters accurately and timely according to facility protocols Participate in orientation and required ongoing training; follow all facility policies, confidentiality, and safety protocols Why This Role Meaningful impact delivering correctional healthcare to an adult female population Predictable weekday schedule ideal for work-life balance Competitive locum tenens weekly pay for experienced
