Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Monday-Friday | No Nights | Correctional Healthcare | Wisconsin Seeking a meaningful clinical role with consistent hours and excellent work-life balance? We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services within a correctional healthcare setting in Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys autonomy, collaborative care, and making a direct impact on an underserved patient population. Why This Opportunity? ✅ Monday-Friday Schedule ✅ No Nights or Rotating Shifts ✅ Consistent Daytime Hours ✅ Collaborative Healthcare Team ✅ Practice Autonomously ✅ Meaningful & Rewarding Patient Care Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and more Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare situations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate EMR documentation Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives Qualifications ✔ Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain) ✔ Current DEA Registration & Prescriptive Authority ✔ Current BLS Certification ✔ Minimum of 1 year of NP experience Preferred Background Correctional Healthcare Primary Care Family Practice Urgent Care Emergency Medicine Internal Medicine Occupational Health This role offers the opportunity to focus on high-quality patient care while enjoying stability, predictable scheduling, and strong work-life balance.
