Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description If interested please, Text or Call Kayla (818) 941-8322 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained. This role is critical in delivering quality patient care in various settings, including senior care, memory care. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. Assist with mobility and lifting of patients as required. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Perform basic medical tasks such as phlebotomy when necessary. Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems like Epic. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure compliance with medical terminology and protocols during patient interactions. Requirements Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential. Previous experience in senior care or memory care settings is preferred. Ability to lift patients safely and effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is required.
